“MOVIE POSTER”
You will be required to create a movie poster based on the theme of the myth you have read. You will be graded on your creativity, attention to detail, as well as the information that you provide. The poster will be presented in class and explained. It should look like a movie poster that you see in the theatres—informative and interesting to the viewer.
To Do:
1. Select a myth
2. Your poster must contain pictures or original art to represent the theme of your novel.
3. You must have two quotes from the novel that tell something important about the myth.
4. List two “stars” (characters) of the book with pictures and a brief description. Tell us what actor/actress you would have playing the role of each character.
5. Two quotes from fictitious critics about the book.
6. You must have a short summary of the myth somewhere on the poster board.
7. Your poster must be colorful and creative.

Poster includes:
Two quotes from book 5 points each 10 points
Two “stars” 7.5 points each 15 points
Two critics’ quote 5 points each 10 points
Summary 15 points
Total 50 points
